Las Vegas Campervan / RV Hire FAQ

Can you drive an RV in Las Vegas?

Driving an RV into Las Vegas is one of the most popular ways to explore the city.

This is because there are plenty of options to park up for the night with many of the casinos having RV parking available on-site.

If you don’t fancy parking in the city, there are free campgrounds situated a 30-minute drive from the centre.

Can you park an RV on the street in Las Vegas?

There are plenty of places where you can park your RV in Vegas, but the rules around parking it on residential streets are a bit more complicated.

Currently, recreational vehicles such as RVs or motorhomes are allowed to park for 48 hours on a residential street if the owner has a permit. This can be obtained from the city’s parking division and is generally more for local residents.

How much does it cost to rent an RV for a week in Las Vegas?

When it comes to renting an RV in Las Vegas, you’ll find the price varies a lot!

If you’re looking to hire a small camper, you’re looking at a cost of between $80-$120 per day.

Medium-large campervans will set you back between $140-$180 per day, whilst the cost of RVs will all depend on what class you choose.

For large RV rentals (Class A or C) expect to pay anywhere from $250 upwards. It all depends on the size, class, and amenities of the vehicle you go for!

How much is the cheapest RV to rent?

If you’re looking for the cheapest RV rentals in Las Vegas, you’ll want to go for a Class B RV.

Class B RVs cost around $150-$200 per night, and if you hire an older RV this will reduce the cost even more.

If you use sites like Outdoorsy or RV Share, you can pick up an older camper from $80 upwards.

Do you need a special license to drive an RV?

Luckily, you don’t need a special license to drive most RVs.

As long as the vehicle weighs under 26,000 pounds which most classes of RV do, you can drive it with a regular driver's license.

So, what are you waiting for?

With so many incredible sights to see around Las Vegas, let’s get this show on the road.
