I’ve just tested the Simify eSIM for a full MONTH, over the entire state of Florida, and I’m going to tell you exactly what I thought.
If you've stumbled across this review, then it's likely because you're thinking of purchasing a Simify eSIM, or you're wondering can you trust the eSIM to do a good job and keep you connected on your trip..
Well, I've tested it, so you can have the answer!
I think this may be the most thoroughly tested eSIM I’ve ever done.
But why should you even trust me?
Well, I've tested over 20 eSIM brands over the last 3 years, and it's weirdly now become a hobby of mine, which you'll see if you dive deeper into my website!
But I'll give you my honest opinion, good and bad, and if you think it's worth a go, then you can get a discount with the code DBTF15...
So let’s get into it…
At the heart of every travel daydream is the desire to just go—no fuss, no waiting, no messing about with roaming tricks or physical SIM cards.
That’s exactly the kind of spirit Simify is built for.
Founded in 2018 in Sydney by two friends, Simify began its journey by offering traveller-friendly SIM cards and has since evolved into a full-blown eSIM provider.
Their mission? To give you convenience, transparency and the kind of connectivity that keeps up with life on the move.
They say: ditch the roaming fees, forget switching SIMs, and land in your next destination with data ready to go.
Here are a few of the travel-friendly hallmarks that set them apart in a very crowded and competitive eSIM market:

With Simify, you get two main types of plan for the USA (and the nearby region of Canada & Mexico) that line up nicely with different travel styles.
I think it’s worth mentioning that Simify now offer a Global eSIM which includes the USA.
This is a data-only eSIM plan from Simify that offers unlimited mobile data (no fixed GB cap) for a set duration (from 7 up to 90 days) and works across 111 countries worldwide.
It’s ideal for travellers visiting multiple countries (or who just want the freedom of “go anywhere” without buying a local SIM at each stop).
Here are some of the sample prices (UK/GBP) at time of writing:
For someone hopping continents, paying roughly £1-£2 per day for truly unlimited data is a strong value when compared to typical roaming fees or buying local SIMs.
If for a future trip you were going to a number of different countries (Europe → Middle East → Asia) this global plan would be “the one plan to rule them all” — you set it up once and roam across borders without swapping.
Whilst I didn’t use this exact “global” plan on my Florida trip, the value and flexibility I experienced on my regional unlimited plan was great — so for a bigger multi‐destination travel this global version is compelling.
My recent trip to Florida gave the perfect backdrop to test Simify’s unlimited North America eSIM (the “Unlimited Data — USA, Canada & Mexico – 30 days” plan) and see how it stands up when your days are full of roaming, streaming, mapping, and chasing sunshine.

When you’re roaming from one country to the next, there’s no messy SIM card swap or hunting for a local outlet. With Simify’s eSIM, you activate digitally and land connected — it’s built for fluid travel.
You don’t need to wait for a physical SIM to arrive or dig out ejector pins at the airport. Simify emphasises ease and the setup process is relatively straightforward… in most cases… the entire setup takes less than 10 minutes.
Especially when you’re using maps, uploading photos, streaming or hotspotting on the move, having a reliable unlimited-data plan shines. You don’t have to think about your usage when you’re on holiday, which really should be the last worry on your mind!
While Simify’s eSIMs shine for staying connected with data (maps, streaming, social uploads), many of their plans are data-only — meaning they don’t include a full outgoing local phone number, traditional voice calls or SMS under the same plan. This tends to be the same for *most* eSIM provider, so I kept my UK SIM live for calls/texts and used the Simify eSIM just for data — worth knowing, because if you want everything under one line you may need to pair up other services.
Even though Simify offers “unlimited data” plans, “unlimited” does not always mean full-speed forever, everywhere. After a high-usage threshold (depending on country/plan) speed may drop, or service might use lower-priority network access.
Also, local network quality and coverage can vary. On my trip in Florida I mostly had strong performance, but I note that if you venture into very remote areas (or rely heavily on hotspot sharing/uploading) you’ll want to check local network bands and the fine-print of the plan. ‘Unlimited’ is a big plus for me, but it’s wise to temper expectations with real-world conditions.
Yes, yes I would!
I thought the pricing was good value for unlimited data, and I love the fact I was able to hot spot other devices (this is a big pro, other unlimited eSIM providers, such as Holafly, do not allow this). The set up was easy, the app is clean, and everything is just easy to use which is a big plus.
Plus you can get a discount of 15% with the code DBTF15 which will make that pricing all the more sweeter!

Love,
Cazzy
