We literally fell in love with Siquijor, especially Cambugahay Falls, which ended up becoming my favorite waterfalls I’ve seen anywhere in Asia.
But as well as having so many awesome sites, there is also so much incredible accommodation in Siquijor to choose from.
Right through from budget hostels to luxurious resorts, this small island has it all.
So, if you’re wondering where to stay in Siquijor, then you’re in luck as here are my top 10 finds!
Booking.com vs Agoda for accommodation in Siquijor?
I can say that Booking.com is all we used, not only in The Philippines but for all our accommodation bookings in Southeast Asia.
First and foremost, we love the site for its amazingly affordable prices; they have the best prices you can bargain for and we love the fact that they have a handy mobile app that allows you to make your bookings anytime, anywhere.
Super convenient when you are on the move.
You can also easily use their app to find the location of the hotel you’ve booked on Google Maps. Booking.com has one of the biggest range of hostels as well as the best hotels in Siquijor.
As frequent travelers ourselves, we love the discounts that come with being a Genius member at Booking.com.
And you can too once you complete 3 bookings with the site. You will get access to amazing discounts and perks such as early check-in, late check-out, 10% off on most services and lest I forget, free welcome drinks!
On the flip side, we also found some incredibly competitive deals on Agoda.
In particular, they actually come in cheaper at times if you take into account Agoda Cash, which gives you cash back on certain properties; which you can then accumulate and use on future bookings.
My advice would be to, once you find a property you like, compare the price on both Agoda and Booking.com, to see which comes in cheapest.
To help you out, for all properties below I've gone ahead and included links to both.

The interior is pretty noticeable as well. I mean, there are more than enough reasons why we recommend Aquamare as one of the best places to stay in Siquijor.
We had such an amazing experience in Siquijor. I must say, the island is by far one of our favorite islands in The Philippines. There was so much to do and so much to see and we explored most of the island. All in all, let me share a few of the must-do experiences in Siquijor:
Siquijor really does have some of the most friendly and helpful people, I could tell this from the way the property owners and staff handled their guests. You feel at home immediately when you check-in.
The island itself is pretty small but has lots of activities to indulge in, especially water activities. Best of all, most of these great spots are just walking distances from these properties. You can also rent out motorbikes, a car or a bicycle to go sightseeing and still make it back to your resort in good time.
I'm an Economics graduate with a passion for travel. In 2016 I decided to ditch the office environment, work from my laptop and travel to every country in the world. You'll find me working out of a cafe in Bali, perhaps on a riverboat in Brazil or maybe even an airport lounge in New Delhi.
