hotels in Galway City

Galway City, on the West coast of Ireland, is well known for its fantastic sites and attractions.

Within the city itself are amazing places including Galway City Museum, Eyre Square and Galway Cathedral.

As for natural features, the Galway Bay creates breathtaking scenery and you can catch these amazing views of the ocean from your hotel room, patio or terrace.

These beautiful features have made Galway popular among travellers and hence there are many hotels, hostels and guest houses offering all types of accommodation for guests.

I’ve created this roundup of Galway city hotels and hostels to give you options of where to stay in Galway.

Hopefully, this will help you get something that suits your style and budget.

Why use Booking.com & Agoda for city hotels in Galway?

Planning your travels and accommodation doesn’t have to be complicated and strenuous. That’s why we’ve always used Booking.com & Agoda and recommend that you do so too. Both tools are so easy to use. Booking.com’s website gives a simple and clear ranking system for various hotels, hostels and guesthouses. They also highlight the main features which guide you when deciding on what kind of accommodation you would like.

More to that, Booking.com offers the best prices. Since they have one of the biggest range of hotels and hostels, you can choose whichever fits your budget. In case you come across a lower price listed somewhere else for the same accommodation, guess what, when you inform Booking.com, they’ll refund you the extra amount.

The more you use Booking.com, the better. You can get into their Genius loyalty program and get access to some exciting perks and discounts.

Agoda offer similarly competitive rates, especially with their flash deals In order to get the most out of Agoda, I recommend booking properties that offer AgodaCash. This is a cashback system that gives you future credit for making certain bookings.

It’s a great system that rewards you for using them again and again; I find that Agoda offers great deals for higher end properties, as opposed to the cheaper ones.

Either way, to get the best deal overall, you can use the links below to check prices on both sites.
